Nutrition & Supplements

What you eat affects how you recover. Nutrition guidance is part of care here.

In short: Patients receive practical nutrition guidance as part of their care. They can also order professional-grade supplements through the practice’s Fullscript online store, shipped to their door.

Why nutrition is part of care

The practice takes a whole-body view. Sleep, hydration, activity and diet all influence how tissues recover and how you feel day to day. Nutrition advice here is meant to support your care plan, not to replace medical treatment.

Nutrition is one part of the practice’s holistic chiropractic care. What you eat, how you sleep and how you recover can all affect how you feel between visits. When nutrition is relevant, it becomes part of your Get Well Plan alongside your other care.

What the guidance covers

  • A nutrition consultation
  • Dietary guidance
  • Supplement recommendations
  • Muscle testing to help choose the right supplements
  • A review of your lab work

We recommend getting lab work done regularly. Dr. Lambert reviews the results with you and bases nutrition and supplement recommendations on them.

A nutrition consultation is $100. There is no consultation fee for spinal care.

Ordering supplements

You can order through the practice’s Fullscript store. Fullscript carries more than 300 professional brands and ships directly to you. Your provider can send recommendations to your account so you know exactly what to order.

Using supplements safely

  • Supplements can interact with prescription medications. Tell your physician and pharmacist what you take.
  • Check with your physician first if you are pregnant, nursing or managing a medical condition.
  • Supplements are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease.
